A tale of love and courage

  • Does it matter where you come from?
  • Can your ancestors change your future?
  • What hidden forces in our possession can be unleashed if only we knew how?

Reading this time travel young adult novel is like riding a roller coaster of emotions and uncertainties, psychedelic thrills, and triumphs.

The Maharani bathes, aided by her ladies-in-waiting; she prepares to beguile Gulab with surma around her eyes and wearing her finest figure-hugging silk sari, patterned with gliding peacocks and staccato herons on an emerald landscape.

Haroun from The Maharaja's Bodyguard
